The economy is beginning to move in the right direction  July was the first month since August 2008 that employers cuts fewer jobs.  The unemployment rate fell only slightly but any steps in the right direction is a positive sign.  Hopefully we can finish 2009 on a strong note!

There are always lots of articles available to aid you in your job search. It’s good to read lots of different opinions and apply what works best for you. Your individual style or personality may not mesh with one writer’s opinion, so trying to impose those tactics may not result in maximum returns for you. The key is to stay proactive, work your network, keep an open mind and talk to lots of people…and be prepared for the interview!

There are many industries and companies for us to blame for the current economic crisis, but for some reason, the thing that irks me most is when members of our governments executive branch lead the finger pointing. Senators & Congressman, few with any tangible or relevant experience in the business world that would remotely make them qualified, are creating economic policy and taking corporate executives to task over business ethics.
